Step 1: Fresh milk is collected, delivered and tested at FAGE USA Dairy’s state-of-the-art production facility.

Step 2: First, the milk is pasteurized to destroy any harmful bacteria. Next, the FAGE Total live active yogurt culture is added to the milk. This culture is produced at the FAGE USA Dairy production facility and helps create the characteristic FAGE TOTAL Flavor.

Step 3: The milk and the live yogurt cultures then undergo a unique straining process which removes the watery-whey from the yogurt and gives FAGE TOTAL its thick, creamy texture. Approximately, 2 liters of milk are needed to make one 17.3 oz (500g) pot of FAGE TOTAL yogurt.

Step 4: The thick yogurt now goes to the filling stations to be put into the pots. The parchment paper is placed on top of the yogurt and the foil lids are sealed.

Step 5: The yogurt pots pass through a cooling tunnel to FAGE USA Dairy’s robotic refrigerated warehouse. From the warehouse, the yogurt will be dispatched nationwide.
